1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using mymedicert.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
MyMediCert provides a free, browser-based tool that allows licensed health professionals to generate and download medical certificate documents as PDF files. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended solely as a formatting and document-creation aid.
3. Professional responsibility
MyMediCert is a documentation tool, not a medical authority. By using the Service, you confirm that:
- You are a licensed, registered, and qualified health professional permitted under applicable law to issue medical certificates.
- You take full professional and legal responsibility for the accuracy, validity, and appropriateness of every certificate you generate.
- You have personally examined the patient named in the certificate and that all information entered is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You will not use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or falsified medical documents.
- You understand that issuing false medical certificates may constitute a criminal offence in your jurisdiction.
4. Prohibited uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create or distribute fraudulent, forged, or fabricated medical certificates.
- Impersonate a licensed medical professional.
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or professional code of conduct.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code for commercial purposes.
- Use automated tools to generate certificates in bulk for fraudulent purposes.
5. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) the certificates produced will be accepted by any employer, government body, insurance company, or other third party; (c) the Service will meet your specific professional requirements.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyMediCert and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on a generated certificate, rejection of a certificate by a third party, or professional disciplinary action.
7. Intellectual property
The MyMediCert website design, logo, and code are the intellectual property of MyMediCert. The content of certificates you generate belongs entirely to you. We claim no ownership over the documents you create.
8. Modifications to the service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
9. Governing law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the relevant jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service following a change constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
